Product Description
Product Description
Introduction
Light weight high alumina brick is called high alumina insulating brick or light weight insulating brick, too.
The Al2O3 of it is more than 48%. It is a kind of light weight refractory material, which is mainly composed of
mullite, glass phase or corundum.
We produced it with high bauxite and little clay, by levigating, gas bubble method or bubble act,
casting and shaping with slurry, firing under the temperature of 1300~1500℃.
Performance
1.Low heat conductivity
2. High strength, corrosion resistance
3. Low heat capacity
4. Low shrinkage
5. High insulation
6. High refractoriness
7. Low bulk & densit.
Application
It is used for the construction of furnace lining and insulating layer, and the parts without erosion or
scouring action of intense high temperature melting material. The surface contact temperature
shouldn’t be higher than 1350℃ when it is exposed to flame directly.
