What is Magnesia Carbon brick?

Magnesia Carbon brick is a resin-bonded brick made from dead-burned or fused magnesia and high-purity graphite. It is a kind of high melting point basic oxide magnesium oxide (2800 ℃) and high melting point carbon material which is difficult to be infiltrated by slag as raw materials, adding various non oxide additives. The unburned carbon composite refractories are made of carbon binder. Magnesia carbon brick is mainly used for lining of converter, alternating current arc furnace, direct current arc furnace, slag line of ladle, etc.
